A good lunch buffet is always a sign of a decent Indian restaurant, because if the food sitting out for a few hours is good, whatever is made to order in the kitchen for dinner is usually very good. Our Place has a good buffet at lunch, but to really enjoy its best, go for dinner and order off the Southern Indian Specialties menu.
If you are there for lunch you will find a buffet with all the usual suspects: chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, naan bread, a few different varieties of rice, various vegetable curries, etc. But if you go for dinner, you will be rewarded with better food, especially the dosai and biryani off the Southern Specialties menu.
This is a large place and caters to families, so the prices are reasonable (and they do offer half portions on the dinner menu for half price for kids under 9) and the atmosphere is utilitarian. They serve wine and beer and also have banquet rooms, making it a good choice for large parties.
