Fearless Critic’s simple, powerful visual interface is optimized for iPhone from the ground up, and it all starts on the map: You can kiss goodbye to all those confusing decisions about what “neighborhoods” to select, or complicated rollers, check-boxes, or phone-shaking schemes before you get the ratings you need. Simply use your fingers to drag the map, and zoom in or out, to choose your area and see the best restaurants within reach.

Just follow the colorful pins: In our intuitive color-coding system, based on a traffic light, the lowest-restaurants are marked with red pins, the medium-rated restaurants are yellow, and the top-rated restaurants are green. And restaurants with ratings of 9.0 or above—Fearless Critic’s highest honor—get green stars.

Feeling more verbal than visual? Try list view. With a simple click of the “List” button, you can see a full list of the choices in your area, sorted by Fearless Critic food ratings from 1 to 10.

In a picky mood? Narrow your search with a sophisticated set of filters. Choose to see only restaurants that are open right now, restaurants that are vegetarian-friendly, restaurants that have good wine, beer, or cocktail program, and much more. All of it is done with a simple set of switches.
