We still think this a hoax
Whose tab would make even sheiks choke.
But lately we find a slight change of mind:
This steak’s gotten better, no joke.
The Prime beef is in-house dry aged,
The well-marbled ribeye’s the rage.
Wagyu’s quite pricey; the taste difference is dicey
But you probably won’t care at this stage.
The kitchen’s still somewhat impaired—
Oversalted and creamed everything, squared—
But they cook a good meat, medium-rare’s no small feat.
Still, the mark-up is grossly unfair.
The wine list deserves our redress
You can drink well for considerably less.
Better’s not darker; ignore Robert Parker!
Ask which bottle the som would suggest.
The service is kind and attentive
It should be: this place is expensive!
We’re still somewhat jaded, but can be persuaded.
(If you’re paying we won’t be so plaintive.)
