Website www.hoguecellars.comOverview When we think of Pinot Grigio, the
word that comes most often to mind
is “pretty.” These wines are generally
not powerful or overly complex;
instead, they charm with easy fruit
flavors and floral aromas. This
pleasant wine, from one of
Washington State’s largest wineries,
is no exception. We wouldn’t
recommend cellaring it or trying to
pair it with powerful foods, but it will
make for a wonderful apéritif.
Nose It’s pretty and subtle, with a
sharp lemon quality, as well as apples
and flowers.
Mouth It could use a bit more acid
(it seems almost sweet without it),
but the green apple flavors are
delicious.
