Overview Last year it was Bogle’s reds that made an impression on our blind tasters, but this year a white finally made its way into the top picks: this Sauvignon Blanc delivered enough tropical fruit and crisp acidity to deserve its share of the attention. There’s certainly nothing subtle about this wine—and that’s why many of our blind tasters loved it. Even a jaded drinker would have a hard time turning down its bold, refreshing flavors.
Nose Intense apple and tropical fruit aromas dominate. There’s no mistaking that this is a Sauvignon Blanc.
Mouth More banana and other fruits here, along with bright acidity to counter what could otherwise be cloying flavors.
