Robin Goldstein is co-author of The Beer Trials and founder and editor-in-chief of the Fearless Critic restaurant guide series. He writes for the New York Times Freakonomics blog, and has written for more than 30 Fodor’s travel guides, from Italy to Thailand, Argentina to Hong Kong. Robin has an A.B. in neuroscience and philosophy from Harvard University and a J.D. from the Yale Law School, where he focused on behavioral law and economics. He also has a certificate in cooking from the French Culinary Institute in New York and a WSET advanced wine and spirits certificate. Robin blogs at Blind Taste.

He is a student at the Yale Law School and a graduate of Yale University, where he founded the wine journal Vino/Veritas: The Yale Wino. He has also worked as a wine retail consultant and served as editor of the Yale Philosophy Review.
