Overview The Rogue website offers a creed and a mission statement; both suggest a proletarian, everyman spirit which is at odds with their pricing, which tends to be high by West Coast craft brew standards. But the quality here is generally high and Rogue has had little trouble expanding significantly up and down the coastal states.

Flavors and aromas We wouldn’t have guessed that this beer was an oatmeal stout. This isn’t a creamy, soft beer, but it does have a prominent roast barley aroma and flavor that makes it much like a full-flavor version of Guinness Draught. There’s clean iced coffee flavors, chocolate, slightly grassy hops, and a long, satisfyingly dry finish.
