Overview According to beer author Stan Hieronymus, Busch Light is the second-best selling sub-premium (“cheap”) beer in the United States, trailing only its older brother Natural Light.

Flavors and aromas A faint yeasty smell—as of sourdough starter—is about all there is to be found in the nose. The palate, wrote one taster, is “more mineral water than beer,” with effervescent fizz, and no real malt or hop character. The finish is very dry, and while most of the parts here are common for light beer, there’s less character than there was in our samples of Anheuser-Busch stablemate Natural Light.
