Overview Blanc de Noirs Champagnes (or, in this case, sparkling wines) earn their name because they are composed exclusively of Pinot Noir, a classic red wine grape. This tends to give them a fruitier, richer profile than wines made from the traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. This bottle isn’t as stereotypically Pinot Noir-ish as some Blanc de Noirs, but there’s certainly that hint of extra richness that appealed powerfully to our tasters.

Nose Our blind tasters found raisins, apples, crackers, citrus, and that Champagne yeast aroma.

Mouth There’s tons of apple flavor here, along with impressive acid. We could drink this all day.
