Overview This wine sent one of our blind tasters—an importer and wine educator, no less—into fits of excitement; she insisted on taking the rest of the box home. And we can certainly understand her enthusiasm. The wine—not quite the laundry list of grapes that make up the red version—consists of Malvasia Bianca, Muscat Canelli, Grüner Veltliner, and several other underrated grapes. It’s intensely perfumed and sweet smelling, yet pleasingly dry. We’d happily keep one of these three-liter boxes in the fridge for a late afternoon treat.

Nose As we said, it’s extremely aromatic, with floral and citrus notes.

Mouth Perfumed, big, and almost oily, it has just enough acid to keep it from seeming bloated or decadent.
