Overview For the past two years, Alamos’ Malbec has been a favorite of our blind tasters; this year it’s joined by the floral, fruity Torrontés. So aromatic it could be mistaken for a classy perfume, it should be a hit with anyone looking for that perfect apéritif. It should also be easy to find: it’s distributed by the massive E & J Gallo, so there’ll always be a bottle handy at a wine store near you.
Nose Pear, grapefruit, apricot, and intense floral aromas dominate this impressively aromatic nose.
Mouth It’s crisp and dry, which contrasts nicely with the floral flavors that persist into the finish.
