Overview This wine left our tasters confused. Many of them noted that it tasted like a Sauvignon Blanc, but there was something strange about it. We discovered what that was when we pulled off the brown paper bag: the Sauvignon Blanc (which is normally made solo or perhaps with Sémillon) was blended with Chardonnay and Ugni Blanc. It’s all made weirder by the fact that Blanc de Blancs is a term reserved for sparkling wines made exclusively from the Chardonnay grape.

Nose It’s got nice minerality, along with peach and floral aromas from the other grapes. One of our blind tasters detected a slight chemical note.

Mouth Orange, lime, and citrus flavors mingle wonderfully. There’s even enough acid to cut through all that fruit.
