Vintage tasted 2009 Grapes Sauvignon Blanc

Overview Whether it’s from New Zealand, California, or Bulgaria, there are a few things we always look for in a Sauvignon Blanc: bright flavors and aromas (preferably with a good balance between fruit and grassiness), food-friendliness, and tons of refreshing acidity. This bottle is three for three, with intense citrus and tropical fruit aromas that remind us of a New Zealand Sauv Blanc and enough acidity to melt metal. We couldn’t be happier, and we’ll definitely keep an eye open for other Bulgarian Sauv Blancs in the future.

Nose Tropical fruit, bright citrus, green apple, and floral aromas thrilled our blind tasters.

Mouth More of the same here, along with blistering acidity that will make this wine a hit on a hot day.
