Overview The description on the back of this South African bottle suggests that the vineyards are constantly being visited (and possibly tended to) by majestic cheetahs. While we doubt that’s the case, we were huge fans of this mineral-driven wine. Chenin Blanc is Africa’s signature white grape, and it’s easy to see why: its slight sweetness is balanced by substantial acidity, and its bright flavors are impossible to resist.
Nose Our blind tasters picked out the aromas of grass, minerals, and even lemon Pine-Sol.
Mouth The sensation of clean, wet rock persists here, accompanied by a slight sweetness.
