Overview Tiny Ashland, Oregon is home to the Shakespeare festival and to Caldera Brewing Company, which has made a name for itself among craft beer drinkers and fishermen by producing quality microbrews in aluminum cans—the first craft brewery in Oregon to do so.

Flavors and aromas This is a no-frills pale ale with a bright flavor palette of citrusy hops and a clean, crisp mouth of toasted malt and balanced but bright bitterness. Citrus character, including grapefruit, lingers into the finish. All of those high-toned notes left some tasters feeling like the beer lacked punch, but this seems like a drink for warm summer days, when the lack of heft is refreshing.
