Flavors and aromas A rich malty nose and low, effervescent carbonation hint that this beer is from England, but there are some resiny hops in there as well. The palate is malty and crisp, with a bubbly bitterness that sneaks just past being balanced. It’s a well-built ESB that straddles two brewing traditions with ease and grace.
