Alaskan Amber

Family Pale Ale Style Alt
Country USA (AK) ABV 5.3%
Price $$ Packaging 12oz/355ml bottle
Characteristics Malty, refreshing

Overview Founded in 1986, Alaskan is the largest brewery in Alaska and is one of the larger American craft breweries, despite distributing only as far east as the Rockies. That success rests largely on their amber, a malt alt-style beer.

Flavors and aromas Mild hops are dominated by the strikingly malty nose, which has some fruity Munich malt character and a hint of cinnamon adding complexity. The palate features dark caramel notes and toasted malt that is very well complemented by light, crisp bitterness. A nice mouthfeel completes the package. Our team was very happy with this beer.
