Overview Many critics of organic winemaking hint that organic mass producers can’t achieve reliable, consistent quality without the aids of pesticides and other chemicals. But the continuingly high quality of this Cabernet (it’s been selected by our blind tasters two years running) suggests that Argentina’s Familia Zuccardi has found a way to combine consistency, delicious wine, organic methods, and low prices. Sounds about right to us.

Nose The crushed fruit and ripe berries are countered by the green pepper and other vegetal aromas.

Mouth Our blind tasters found it a bit green and suggested it could use a few more months before being drunk. But they were still impressed with the balance.
