Vintage tasted 2008 Grapes Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc

Overview Côtes-du-Rhône reds are increasingly popular these days with everyday drinkers, and if more whites like this start becoming widely available, we wouldn’t be surprised if the whites catch on too. The grapes—Clairette and Bourboulenc, in particular—may be unfamiliar, but the delicate, fresh nose and clean acidity are old friends.

Nose Our blind tasters called it clean, fresh, and delicate, and they especially enjoyed the floral aromas.

Mouth Fresh acidity and bright citrus flavors wooed our blind tasters. This is a definite candidate for a good outdoor drink.
