Vintage tasted 2007 Grapes Sangiovese

Overview This is definitely one of the cheaper Chiantis out there, and it was also one of our blind tasters’ favorites. It’s more fruity than many of our other Chianti selections, but no less likeable for that. And at this price, we’d be happy to have it as a table wine with any Italian meal.

Nose It’s intensely fruity, with berry and cherry aromas.

Mouth Big and juicy, it maintains its cherry appeal. There’s a slight hit of tannin at the end, but it’s much less acidic than many Chiantis.
