Overview This three-time Wine Trials selection proudly proclaims its dedication to terroir. It’s refreshing to see such a commitment from a winery that churns out hundreds of thousands of cases of wine a year. Perhaps it’s all for show, but merely promoting the idea of terroir in America is worthwhile—and if our blind tasters loved the wine this many years in a row, perhaps Geyser Peak is on to something.

Nose It’s less powerful than last year’s effort, with vegetal aromas and the distinct Sauvignon Blanc smell.

Mouth There’s some fruit here, along with grassiness, floral flavors, and refreshing tartness.
