Overview Unsurprisingly, given the freedom of sparkling wines to mix vintages, our Wine Trialsbubblies have remained consistent year to year. For the third year in a row, this wine impressed our blind tasters with mouthwatering acidity and enticing aromas. And don’t worry—despite Freixenet’s relentless advertising featuring dangerously attractive people partying with celebrities, there’s no rule against frumpy or non- celebratory drinkers. Which is good, because we enjoy this one anytime.

Nose It’s intensely aromatic, with citrus, apples, and flowers.

Mouth The acid is bracing and definitely intense enough to allow this sparkler to pair with food.
