Overview Many Aussies are embarrassed by Foster’s—not only because of the big, dumb, in-your-face “Australian for beer” campaign and the big, dumb, in-your-face cans, but also because they feel that the only widely available Australian beer in North America represents their homeland poorly. And they’re right. The irony is that Foster’s is not especially popular Down Under. But such are the vagaries of globalization.

Flavors and aromas This big can of fake Australia is pretty darn American, with no real hop profile to speak of and minimal bitterness. But for a clean, light lager, this was pretty decent, and could serve as a nice thirst quencher on a hot day. No rough edges showed up to put us off.
