Overview Saranac beers are brewed at F.X. Matt Brewery in Utica, New York. F.X. Matt produces a dizzying array of beers—there have been more than forty beers released under the Saranac name.

Flavors and aromas Citrusy, West Coast-style hops in the nose share space with mild malt and a touch of diacetyl. The palate jumps with bright carbonation and sparkling bitterness, while malt character is low—just present enough to keep things interesting. While the hop flavor in the mouth is also low, bitterness crescendos over several sips to become the dominant key. Our tasters were pretty fond of this.
