Overview While they've retained the 1902 slogan “It's the Water,” the sale of the brewery and its subsequent closure means that Olympia is no longer brewed with the water they were talking about—though to be fair, it does still seem to be mostly water.

Flavors and aromas This is an almost perfectly neutral American lager, with little flavor to recommend it, and little in the way of flaws to detract. A hint of skunkiness in the nose, some sweet malt, and modest carbonation describe nearly the entirety of the beer. The finish is dry, and clean, and if you have important things to do while you drink, you'll find that nothing here—save your increasing blood-alcohol content—will distract you from your task.
