Characteristics Malty, refreshing

Overview Italian beer has a bad rap, but the basic profile of standard Italian imports makes some sense—light, German-styled lagers that tone down malt intensity fit the warmer climate of Mediterranean Italy. Moretti, interestingly, is not commonly found in Italy; it’s way more prevalent in the US.

Flavors and aromas Birra Moretti went over well with our tasters, with its full-bodied nose of malt and light caramel, and a light, refreshingly crisp palate that features just enough bitterness to keep it clean and dry. There’s no soda sweetness here, and it would be easy to drink several of these without getting palate fatigue.
